Regardless of the continued drama, questionable last film and subsequent series, it must be remembered for the revolutionary way in which it discussed feminist issues including a new way of looking at sexuality through the female lens, whilst breaking the rules and expectations for ageing women in a frank and realistic way.

The three main conditions of the media in society include autonomy from the government, the public trusting in the news and finally to produce news that is accurate, truthful, impartial and fair. On the 23rd of November 2015, The Sun Newspaper published an article that I believe breached these conditions.

So many of our assumptions about the human mind—what it is, why it breaks, and how it can be healed—are rooted in a mistaken belief about how experience is stored in the brain. With this in mind I want to explore the fragility and reliability of memory related to trauma and the form and content of Memento in relation to ideas of memory.
